My writing started with a seemingly simple idea: to tell the stories and comically-gained knowledge that I was quickly accumulating thanks to my passion for the outdoors. In early 2016 I launched my personal blog Wild Country Found, since then I have worked as a contributing author for Roots Rated and Backpackers.com, and was chosen to take part in Sierra Designs inaugural Aspiring Artists Program. My work has appeared in the publications of  La Sportiva, the Pacific Crest Trail Association, Go Santa Barbara, and Visit LA, in addition to my advertising clients. My writing primarily focuses on outdoor places, individuality, and encouraging readers to get outside.
